About Our Medicines
What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a system of medicine developed more than 200 years ago. Its ingredients are prepared through a series of dilutions and vigorous shaking, known as succussion. Learn more about our homeopathic medicine.
What makes Dr. King’s Natural Medicines different?
Dr. Frank King developed his homeopathic formulas in a pure water base, rather than the sugar pellets or strong alcohol bases found in many traditional homeopathic products. Our essentially taste-free oral sprays come in 2 oz amber glass bottles with an easy-to-use pump spray.
Are the oral sprays completely taste-free?
They are essentially taste-free. Most people notice little to no taste, though some may notice a faint taste in certain formulas.
Does homeopathy have known side effects or drug interactions?
Homeopathy has no known side effects and no known negative drug interactions.
Where are your medicines made?
Dr. King’s Natural Medicines are manufactured by King Bio, an FDA-registered pharmaceutical manufacturer founded in 1989. Learn about our manufacturing practices and our water purification process.
What is the HPUS?
The Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS) is a reference for homeopathic ingredients, with standards and monographs covering their identity and preparation. An ingredient’s inclusion in the HPUS does not mean that a finished medicine has been approved by the FDA. www.hpus.com
Why do some homeopathic ingredient names sound concerning?
Homeopathic ingredients are often listed by their Latin names. For example, Allium cepa is the name for red onion. These names identify the substances used to prepare the ingredients. You can find the ingredients for each formula on its product label.
Do your products contain animal-derived ingredients?
Some homeopathic ingredients originate from animal sources, such as Apis mellifica (honey bee). If you’re looking for a product without animal-derived ingredients, contact us before ordering so we can help you check the specific formula.
